1. Ссуда (обеспеченная ссуда (secured loan)), при которой кредитор является обладателем какого-либо актива заемщика; в случае невозвращения заемщиком долга кредитор имеет право реализовать этот актив в целях погашения ссуды.
2. Кредитор (обеспеченный кредитор (secured creditor)), который в качестве залога удерживает какое-либо имущество должника.
